Aristotle was an ancient Greek philosopher and polymath who studied under Plato at the Academy in Athens and later founded his own school, the Lyceum. He lived from approximately 384 to 322 BCE, born in Stagira in northern Greece, and spent significant periods in Athens, Macedon, and Assos.
